Dean is...

...trying so hard to roll over. He's almost got it. In the meantime, he enjoys it quite a bit when I prop him up on his elbows.

...giggling a very lot. At his dad, at his mom, at his big brother, when being tickled or wiggled, when getting dressed, when getting undressed. We, in turn, are giggling a very lot, right back at him.

...loving the attention that is occasionally lavished on him by his big brother. He gets a big kick out of sitting in the Bumbo and "playing" with Kent (usually watching Kent play, sometimes reaching out for a toy).

...sleeping longer for his naps and taking fewer of them, but not sleeping any longer at night. The best he can do is apparently 3 hours, then 2- and 1-hour stretches for the rest of the night. I'm hanging in there, but it's definitely taking a toll over time.

...my beautiful little boy. I never get tired of looking at him.

what he said. thanks!
What they said, thanks right at ya!!!New screen savers...
Oh goodness, he's so adorable! I especially love the one where he's giggling at Kent - so cute!

I was just looking back at your archives at baby Kent photos and I wonder if you think they look alike at all? I don't see much similarity, but of course you know best.

While perusing your archives, I re-found this photo of Kent at 8 weeks (so, younger than Dean right now) and I re-discovered how cute the fuzzi bunz picture is -- http://thoughtsfromhermes.blogspot.com/2007/08/kent-8-weeks.html And I can certainly still tell it's Kent, he definitely has the same look about him! I wonder what Dean will look like in a couple years?!

p.s. my word verification word is "reste" which I hope means you're getting some rest with more double-nap days. :-)
So big!
Hooray for Dean photos! Thank you for posting them. I was so curious to see how he's growing. Very cute! Please keep posting more, baby photos never get old.
.....really, very VERY cute.
Dean looks so beautiful. Thanks for posting the photos--I know it's hard for you to have much time at the computer. This way we'll all be mesmerized at your beautiful growing family! Much love, Lisa and Joel
