After much hulabaloo, we finally got around to buying paint and tackling the guest room. We got started after dinner tonight, so we only did one wall and the edges where I had put painter's tape. Tomorrow will be the main painting day, and I'll have to do the top of the wall carefully so we don't paint the white ceiling. Jack has already gotten carried away with the rolling action and has tried to paint over one of the outlets.

It looks like one coat may do it, but we'll see. In any case, the color (Monet's lilies) is even better that I could have dreamed. Yay, paint!
