I can label!

Blogger has finally switched me over to the new version of itself, so I'm now able to put labels on all of my posts to categorize them. I've been wildly jealous of Jeannette's labels ever since I first happened upon her blog a few years ago, and now it's a reality for me as well. I've dreamt of this moment for so long. It's... well, it's beautiful. Sniff.

I think you can click on the label(s) at the bottom of any post to see other posts within the same subject area(s), though I've only gotten through my 50 most recent posts so far. It takes time to skim through them all to discern their categories, and I didn't want to spend any more time on it than I already had today.

Um, now I have to figure out what label to give this post. It's too recursive; it makes my head hurt.

Ooooo, fancy! I love that you've dreamt of this moment. Is it everything you imagined it would be? :-) As for a label for this post, you could label it "meta" (i.e., "metacognition" is thinking ABOUT thinking). So you're sort of metablogging - blogging about blogging, a label for labeling. I love identifying meta things (just ask Steve!) :-)

I will attest to the fact that the woman loves using 'meta', even when completely inappropriate for the situation. But if I weren't around to call her on it, what fun would that be?
