Synchronized diving: still awesome
Watching the Olympics tonight, I'm remembering just how much I love watching synchronized diving. I saw it for the first time four years ago when I was visiting Katherine and Bill; Katherine, Bill's sister Erica, and I were hanging out in front of the TV vegging out on synchronized diving and beach volleyball. It's this incredibly beautiful thing to watch two graceful, strong young women execute dives in perfect sync. Such a powerful girly experience. Of course, there's also men's synchronized diving, which I'll try watching tomorrow, and I'll see how that goes. I'm guessing not as girly.
